Owners of inflatable dinghies have long struggled with the necessity of taking their outboard off every time they inverted their dinghy on the back of their power boat. Now there is a simple solution, the WEAVER LEAVER from Weaver Industries, Inc..

Designed to be used with WEAVER SNAP DAVITS the WEAVER LEAVER allows your outboard to remain upright while your inflatable is in the vertical position. The WEAVER LEAVER is made of rugged stainless steel and is manufactured to accommodate outboards up to a maximum weight of 85 pounds.

At the left, the Weaver Leaver is in the closed position. The Outboard is secured and ready for use. The right view shows the Weaver Leaver opened and the outboard pivoted to the horizontal position prior to raising on the Weaver Snap Davits. The bottom view shows the inflatable in the upright position. Extra stability is gained by clipping the adjustable rod to the Weaver davit head or to a pad eye on the swim platform as shown in the illustration.

Model #1

Designed for inflatable with a transom that is within 2" from the top of the tube. (Zodiac, for example)

Model #2

For inflatables with transom that is 4" from top of tube. (Such as Apex)

Model #3

Designed for inflatables with a transom that is within 6" from the top of the tube.

(Such as 95 or newer Avon)

Since there are three models of the WEAVER LEAVER, each designed for different inflatable models, it is important to contact your dealer or Weaver Industries, Inc. to obtain an order/preplanning form to make sure that you obtain the proper model WEAVER LEAVER.
